Now that The Ball has dropped, it’s that time again. The gym is a little more crowded than usual, strangers are giving up their seats for old people on the subway, a few less packs of cigarettes are being purchased at the corner deli, the animal shelter has an influx of new volunteers, and salad is the most ordered meal at the local Friday’s.
